The firm was formed in the year 1999 to provide consultancy for Rain Water Harvesting in Mumbai and has grown over the years to carry out the turnkey projects all over Maharashtra.
Global warming has a major effect on the rainfall all over the world and the demand for water is ever increasing.
As per the data from Mumbai Corporation as of 2003, the supply of water was 2700 MLD (Million Liters per Day) while the demand was 4100 MLD which shows a clear shortfall of 1400 MLD. The projected demand up to 2021 would be 5400 MLD.
Due to the expansion and development the demand of water will increase and corporation will not be able to suffice the same. As a result, the corporation had made RWH System mandatory for all new construction.
Sunlight Consultancy has a vast experience in Rain Water Harvesting more than 10 years. The firm has executed more than 400 successful projects in Existing Societies, Residential Complex, Industrial estates, Companies, Hotels and Sports clubs etc. From above project we save near above 10 million (1Cr.) liter of water per day in each rainy season. This is one of the achievement of our company. While executing Rain Water Harvesting Unit, we required Ground Water Survey because rain water harvesting means to tap the ground water & harvest the rain water. Therefore to find out ground water we developed dowsing method. From that method we can find out ground water source in hard rock. This method is used in America, France, Germany & other develop country. Also we can find out ground water table by resistivity meter. After completing rain water harvesting project we required to test the water whether it can be used at least for secondary purpose or not? Therefore we install water testing laboratory in our company. In some area corporation cannot able to supply sufficient drinking water therefore we are giving all type of water treatment plant to our customer to convert this row water to drinking water. After successful working in water conservation we divert our business towards energy conservation because day by day natural energy resources are diminishing fast. From 1971 to 2004 the electrical consumption has grown steadily from 43724 to 360937 GW/h in Maharashtra. The installed capacity by year 2006 was 126176 MW and still there was a shortfall of 13%. The additional electrical power demand by the year 2012 will be around 40000 MW. The electrification of the rural areas is also another major requirement in future. Hence Sunlight Consultancy with its on ground experience has now ventured into Non-Conventional Energy resources such as solar energy & Wind Energy. The firm can now provide end to end solutions with consultancy and execution in the following areas:
